We work with you to assess and treat your mental health, valuing collaboration, innovation, and wellness.
We can work together with your chosen Medical Doctors, Psychiatrists, and Allied Health.
Clinical Psychological evidence-based treatments available include:
- EMDR (advanced qualifications) and TFT
- Psychoanalytic theory and practice
- Attachment accross the lifespan
- Trauma informed practice, sensory/neurobiological
- CBT and REBT
- Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)
Services are offered by Dr Tania de Jong who is a senior qualified and Psychology Board of Australia endorsed Doctor of Clinical Psychology. Tania also has a Psychology Board of Australia approved Masters degree in Child and Family Psychology. She is registered with AHPRA, and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
Heads Up Health works with general prevelance psychological conditions like anxiety, depression, and stress. In any one year, around 1 million Australian adults have depression, and over 2 million have anxiety, (Beyond Blue). We work with neurodiversity and neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD. Almost half (45%) of Australians will experience a mental illness at some point in their lifetime. The most common mental health presentations are depression, anxiety and combined substance use (Gov).
Anxiety and depression are the two most common mental health problems experienced in Australia.
It's ok to get help
52% of people with mental illness in Australia don't access treatment (Black Dog Institute).
